This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies when you visit it.
Server logs
Our host (OVHcloud, France) keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for security, for a limited period.
Players
Bandcamp and SoundCloud players load only when you press play. From then on, Bandcamp or SoundCloud receive your IP address and may set cookies under their own privacy policies. The Bandcamp player also loads Google Analytics once you press play.
Demo submissions
When you send a demo, we store what you enter in the form (artist or project name, your name, email address, country, message, links and the SoundCloud links to your tracks; we do not take files), on our host (OVHcloud, France), and we send you a confirmation by email. A copy of your submission also arrives in our email inbox; we delete those copies on the same schedule. We use your details, message and links only to listen and to reply. If we decline, your submission is deleted 12 months after our decision. A demo we have not decided on is deleted 12 months after you sent it. Shortlisted and signed demos are kept until we change their status. To have your submission deleted sooner, write to us through brightsounds.fr/contact. Backups of our database are kept for at most 30 days.
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we store your name, email address, topic and message on our host (OVHcloud, France), and a copy arrives in our email inbox so we can answer you. We use them only to reply. Messages, and their copies in our inbox, are deleted 12 months after they arrive; backups of our database are kept for at most 30 days.
